Bayside United FC is an all-female football (soccer) club that has now merged with Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club based in Melbourne's south and competes in the Victorian Women's National Premier League.

Expressions of Interest for the 2024 season are now closed! Unlike community clubs, all new and existing Bayside players trial for selection each year. What is the Victorian Womens National Premier League?
NPLW VIC is the top flight female state football league in Victoria for U13 through to Seniors. It was formed to create an elite pathway from community football to the W-League and beyond. It is the ideal league for girls who have played well at their community club and want to take their football development to the next level. The current NPLW VIC fixtures, results and league ladders can be found here.
Professional coaching, high-quality facilities, focused team-mates and challenging opponents are all found at NPLW level. Here is a summary from FFA of the elite football pathways and programs in Australia. If you get confused with all the various elite support programs like NTC, NYC, TIDC, Emerging Matildas, rest assured that NPLW is the ideal playing environment/league from which to access these programs.
Playing for Bentleigh Greens
Bentleigh Greens Women teams train three times a week, 90 minutes per session and the juniors season runs for 27 rounds from late February to early September. Most games are played on Saturdays, with the occasional Sunday game. We train for and play a possession-based game style that emphasises passing and building from the back. While winning is fun, we know that player development is the ultimate goal, especially at the junior level.
In addition to our qualified coaches, the club has a dedicated Technical Director - Development Program (pre-NPLW U11 & 12, NPLW U13, U15 & U17) who implements a program focussed on player development. This reflects the club's belief that the development of our Juniors is just as important as the Performance Program of our Seniors and U20s.
School holiday clinics
During school holidays, Bentleigh Greens runs half-day football clinics for girls aged 8-14. They are great for girls who want to improve their soccer skills in a fun environment. They are also perfect for those who might want to play for Bentleigh Greens and experience some coaching delivered by the club. Places can fill quickly, so get in early when registrations open.
